The site featured an elegant clean UI, simple navigation, bold imagery, detailed editorial and technical copy, animated content, videos, galleries, slideshows and more. The site is clean, playful, and visually very appealing. The navigation structure of the site allows for non-linear surfing through content. The content and pages are organized for visitors of all levels of familiarity with Canon products; first time visitors have many landing pages and support content to help them understand the product lines and features. More familiar visitors can skip past introductory pages and go straight into the purchase funnel.
The content is written using a good balance of Canon-centric tech-speak and more general consumer terms. It is concise, written and formatted to be quickly read and understood. Imagery is second to none. All product photography is colour-balanced to look consistent throughout the site. Video support is simple and concise as well.
